you are correct good sir, i was thinking too hard lol.

thank you for your patience and guidance.

i picked out the (imo) best pvc over flow i could find, and i drew up my own ideas for the sump based on others on here ive seen.

still not 100% sure on the pump ill use.... but alot of ppl are steering me toward the quiet one 4000 (will be one bigger sump for 2 75g tanks)
