te lids are not press on's thay are screw on lids. i think it would take an act of god for them to come off without being screwed off. plus there is a rubber seal under the lid to help lock them in place . so no worries there right know im just hopeing that the pump is strong enuf

ok i was wondering is there any way to dye the pvc pipe black so it will blend into the back ground?

plactic spray paint. i used rust oleum for plasctic on my pvc. worked great took one coat and dried in a few hours

Cool idea I hope it works out for you,i painted my over flows with krylon fusion,just let it dry a few days before putting it in your tank
