well all and all the idea went to hell lol but it was worth a shot and i dident wast the buckets lol i am yousing one for my pond and it is working awesome can handle a 500gph pond punp with no problem i think the pump i was yousing was way to big if it were to be set for gph it would be close to 2000+. way to much to handle but for $5 i got a filter that is taking care of my 300g koi pond and the water is Crystal clear pumps water throu top filters throu a few pads and out a hole in the bottom vary quit and works great will post pics in a few
