DIY FOAM BACKGROUND

Ok so i have a few quistions for you one how big is the tank length with high ect, two how much epoxy did it take to do this hole thing, Three how much did it cost per gallon quart what ever you used. 4 were can i buy the same stuff that you used. 5 you siad that you added color to it so was is clear to begin with. and 6 say i mad one my self but just spray painted the color on it i can just put this over it to make it tank safe still and if it's clear and my paint is dry it won't mess with the color i put on it in any way. ow and allso what were you using to melt the foam with to get it to look like that and what kind of process is that. what you just put a little on it and it's melts a little can you exsplain that a little to me thanks again.

-it's a normal 55 gallon 48L" x 12W" x 20H".
-it took about 1.75 quarts that did about 3 layers of resin on it.
-well resins not cheap it was about $140 bucks because I ran out of one quart so I had to order another one if you know you will need more than a quart you'd save a little buying a gallon of it.

-ya there's no color to it
-I was told not to paint under it (don't know why) and I'm not sure if it would mess it up or not, with how it gets hot when its drying I would think it probably would mess it up, the rit dye was only a couple bucks a box though
-I didn't melt the foam I carved it with a steak knife and then used a heat gun to finish it up
