DIY OVERFLOW HELP

how does it look so far? using a 1200 gph pump for a 90 gallon tank and a 20 gallon sump

never made one that big so all this is just a guess lol

i would have went with 2" all the way
i dont see 1-1/4 flowing 1200gph
thats alot of flow lol
"not sure how much gph they say 1-1/4 will flow"
i would make it 2" all the way
or
make a matching one for other side of tank

i have to go from 3/4 to 1" just to flow 256gph

and a 20g should work
1200gph going through a 20g sounds real fast lol
i would try to bump it up some,30g maybe?

remember,all just my opinions

also cant remember if the in tank loop has to be as low as the outside loop

also,before you glue it
try it on a few garbage cans with the 1200gph pump going
big g can for overflow,lil g can as "sump"

I took the 1200gph pump back and got a 950 gph pump @ 0 ft or 810 @ 3ft which is what I am using.

I made the outside loop farther down because I thought it would create more of a siphon affect

if the out side loop is lower than the inside it will drain the system during a power outage. which then when the power comes back on, the overflow will not restart and then the tank will flood
