You gotta remember that air will move up in relation to water. So sucking at the top of the siphon is the best of way getting the most air out of it.

hmmm it may be easier to have a hole drilled and have an overflow chamber. but still hope it works out for since you've put in so much effort into it. good luck.

yeah man i was thinking like that to get a chamber behind the tank and holled the tank,.
but now i'l rather spend the time in DIY overflow.
Good news guys i got the check valves. [:)]

thanks Rivermud I hight appreciated your pics .
But my point is what do i have to do with the check valve do i have to suck air out of it.
If yes, then forever of just once.

you drill the top of your overflow and insert the check vavle there. Make sure air come out, not goes in. Then attach air tubing to the end. Make sure to seal the spot where you put the check valve in. Then simply suck on the tube. You will pull air out of the overflow and it will not go back in because of the check valve.

all right i get it lol guys brain was not moving in right direction.U mean to say that to creat a complete vacuum i had to suck the air all out.So, that once the vacuum created it will work as a proper overflow and not let the water flow goes down even when the electricity goes.
