DIY overflow is not working

Allright guys here are the pics of my filter. U know i got the principle right and the idea too. Its all about correct sealing of the pipes, one crack or leakage will ruin it. I use pvc condut piping ,later will turn to the proper plastic pipes used for water supply.I took time for posting pics is cos of this leakage.
Once i fix it and ready for the experiment, new leakage.I fixed that to found there is a crack in the L shape L-bow.I changed it and glue it properly.And engraved this in mind if it didnt workout this time.I will shut it up,no more Diys.
But It worked saving my ASS for the embaracement lolz. I hope i dont see leakage again.

Currently the filter media is just 2 layers of foam,and pot scrubber.Later will add ceramic rings too.Also The check valves were not available so i glued a airpipe and that connecter. works the same i think.
Come on guys its time for some comments
and one more thing.
Yeah the water is cloudy,will soon get cleared and yes that texas is way big for that size of a tank.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. But I must say I admire your determination. I'd have given up by now. Good job. Pot scrubbers will work almost as good as ceramic rings so can continue with em. I recommend using a bigger container, saves the hassles of frequent cleaning of foam. or you can fill the existing container with foam and drill a bunch of holes in the bottom and put the container on top of another container with the bio media and return pump.

I I Sir will continue with the current media .

That texas is 7 inch and that tank is 15x15x15inch
And that water is filled in for almost a week did change it today.Actually that texas was fair deal so couldn't stop myself from buying it.
Will transfer it to the main tank by the end of this month that filter is for that aquarium only.Its just a experiment sort.The main course is yet to come.

U know whats the good deal it works just like it was told here.
When electricity goes it stops and as electricity comes it works

Though will free the texas ASAP my tanks starts. He is one angry man
but hides when he see us.
