Now everything is put to the test, and it seems to work.. The way ive made it is that it drips in the 1200 gallon, goes down to a 150 gallon("sump"), then to the sink.. I will have an fx5 running the sump, with the input in the sump, and return in the 1200 gallon. That way i will always have a pup\fry tank ready when i need it. The only thing that has not bin tested is the return pipe to the sump, that it can handle 2000l\h(fx5). But i do not think it will be a problem(32mm). That pipe will also work as a surface skimmer on the main tank, wich is nice since there is going to be heavy load of feeding in there. i know you guys want pictures, as i would have wanted that myselfe following the thread, but there is only milky water at this stage, youl have to be a little pasient i will probably add fish this week and run the tank with the filters i already have on the pond, til the main filter is up and running in some weeks.
I do crawl under yes Its pretty high, 70cm, so its no problem at all, also have a 150 gallon sump under there, il post some pics now, not the best, and if you wonder about something, just ask away Its a simple but very good setup.
It has bin up and running for 4 days, so not that long. I will move the fishes today, so the canisters on the pond they are inn will probably take care of it. Its getting clearer everyday tho.
Was out in the woods finding another incredible driftwood piece, cant wait to add fish, and get clear water.. Will add another 2x54w t5 on the back today aswell.
So today hell is gonna break loose. 9 pretty big rays, 6 fullgrown geophagus altifrons, 7 heros severum +++++ is gettn ready for a move Now there is an fx5 running the sump, and two more bulbs installed in the back(made all the difference in the world). Will probably post some pics in the evening today! I am so excited to actually se the fishes again, its bin 1 year in a pond, and i can not give aaany recomendations when it comes to ponds, its just not the same without a window.
