Could probably build one of these for any size tank from 30g-125g..
This one costed me $9 in cloth material because I had the rest of the items around the house.
Cinder Blocks, 4x4s, Push-Pins and Nails, and some nice Material..
I got this particular material at Wal-mart for about $3/yd, it is similiar in texture to a burlap sack, but smoother and black.
I felt it was the most effective for the cost, you could get as fancy as you'd like and even use other materials to 'skirt' a 4x4/Cinder Stand. A few examples would be dry-erase board, plywood, fencing, fiberglass paneling, and even laminate flooring.
It's easy to break down and move if you have to, will fit through almost any doors.. All it takes is a little muscle.
Applies to solid flooring such as cement slabs and basement areas only, of course..
After cleaning up an old neglected 50g tank and stacking up some rocks and adding some bells and whistles, my wifeys red-eared slider has a happy new home. Enjoy!
