Ok, so this is my build on my overflows and sump for a 46 gallon bowfront tank.
The tank is pretty stocked up so i need as much bio media as i can, and the AC110 and Penguin 350 arent cutting it anymore.

I plan to leave the AC110 and sump on there as main filtration and it should be more than enough.

I am going to go with a 10 gallon sump. I will buy a 10 gallon tank for around $10, buy some plexi at HD and silicone it on to make the compartments.

Pump will be Quietone 1200 which should give me about 250 GPH at 3 foot head which combined with the AC 110 should give me over 10X turnover.

I will be making the overflows out of PVC and that is what i will mainly be doing today. Ill keep you guys updated!

sounds good

Well got all the PVC pipes and supplies needed. Just missing the pump which i already ordered and some bio balls. I found a nice tray at home depot that will hopefully help me make it a wet dry!

Will post some pics of the supplies in a bit, waiting for my stepdad to get home and bring me the saw to cut the PVC.

Bought a 10 gallon deep blue tank for $12 at the LFS. These tanks looks pretty good actually with the black silicone.

This is the tray i was talking about, i will most likely just hand this from the top of the tank as its a perfect fit and stuff it with bio balls for the Wet/Dry section.

Bought 1 sheet of acrylic

I will be making a spray bar and these are the pieces that connect it, I will paint it all black once measured.

Seems like i will have to go return the paint. I just read the FAQ on their website and its not safe to be completely submerge >.<

Ill go back to home depot later and get another brand paint.... Any suggestions?

Muffy i know it wont be that easy but i have heard that people have done it in the past so how hard can it be :)
