Sorry guys my work schedule sucks, and I haven't had time to work on it. Plus I've been sick and not feeling up to it. Now that I've actually seen it work I got a few ideas on how to adjust the pump. I was thinking about T-ing off the return from the pump and going to 2 spraybars one at each end of the tank. Would this slow down the pump enough to even out the flow? I'll have to try it and see. I'll try to get more done this week.

Work sucks but pays for the fish huh?, hope you feel better these colds & flu are everywhere.

It will confuse the water current, but if you don't need a direction of flow it's ok.

If they are out of the water will give alot of surface aeration too (but noisy).

This is a 20 gallon sump I build last year. It is running on a 40 gallon breeder. I'm almost done with the canopy for the tank and then I will be posting pictures of the whole set up. I might end up selling the set up. I just like building them!

Don't worry...the power head was only used to test the drip plate!

How did you make your drip plate? Im just gonna get a sheet of acrylic and drill small holes in it.

here are some drip plate shots. Hope those help. I did not drill holes in the center because I didn't want the water to just go right through when it hit the plate. By not having holes in the middle it allows it to spread over the whole drip plate.

I just used ge silicone 1 from lowes to hold it together. I didn't know how to bond polycarbonate together...
