Do feeder frogs contain parasites or diseases? I just got some to feed my arowana and peacock bass. Never bought frogs before so I’m uncertain whether they carry parasites like feeder fish and whether I should quarantine then or smthg. Thanks

It would depend on how the frogs were kept but tbh I would quarantine them prior to feeding them to fish.

Reminds me of a leopard frog species, but if you don’t know what it is, I wouldn’t feed it to your fish. Many amphibians carry toxins.

Just looks like an american bullfrog to me, not toxic but also usually not caught or raised in the best conditions, I would either get some alternative food source or if you're really keen on feeding your fish live frogs, quarantine them and see if they stay healthy, but even then parasites that affect fish may not show up in the frog.

Dunno about disease but it's common in Asia especially in Singapore ,you can buy them dirt cheap by the bag.A favourite of aros i've been told.
Yes I live in Singapore and it only cost a whole bag for maybe about $1.50USD. I quarantined for maybe 4 days before feeding? They looked fine so I fed

I wouldn't say that was enough but just watch your fish for now
