As a general rule, I like to feed my juvenile rays 2x-3x/day. The adult bichir tank is only fed 2x-3x/week.
i agree with booger

spot on exapmle you cant put all fish in to one catagory. i normally feed every other day sometimes more sometimes less. i reguly leave my fish for upto two weeks if i fancy going away for a break. ive only lost one fish from doing this. many say that long periods without feeding is good for the digestive system and i agree. i realise many of the posters here try very hard to fatten fish and get them as large as possible but i see no advantage to doing this. my fish are kept svelt-like at all times and show great healthguppy said:It really depends on the fish. Little fry and pipefish need food all day every day, adult marbled gobies shouldn't be fed more than twice a week.
