I only said hybrid because its markings were so off with the almost pure black and (to me on my phone) looked like the streaks on the face has a white outline, which I've never seen a jag with. @Dial92, I think it's funny you think someone who thinks it COULD be a hybrid must have no experience with them. I threw in my 2 cents the way I saw it, and I've owned both male and female jags. But you must be right, since I hinted that it might be a hybrid due to the few differences that I've seen between his fish and any jag I've ever owned, I must be an invalid source, great conclusion

, uknow whats cool is his fangs are growing in, well fang cuz the other one is lagging behind in growth lol, hes a pretty even tempered fish i wud say, ive never seen him attack another fish in my tank and as u can see i have alot of cichlids, my fish seem to always be hanging out together its quite the site , the worst i seen him do is flare and turn extremely gold but thats it when he gets tired of the other fish he goes somewere to get his own alone time but if someone bothers him wen hes tryna be alone he gets a little mad and flares but he is a little bigger than my firemouth and whats funny is the firemouth makes him back down in flare contests lol he/she is a great fish tho big eater aswell it cud eat til it explodes
