Do I Have Ich or Velvet?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Should I give it a bleach bath or something. I used to have a room with over 2000 gallons of aquariums with rays, one of the first of twenty tropical gars imported to the country etc etc and I moved stuff back and forth from tanks and never once had a problem but will all the issues I'm having with this tank, my luck I'll manage to spread bird flu or end up having a fish transform into Charlie Sheen. Too soon?
bleach would be fine, but both your tanks are experiencing similar issues so using the meds you have coming tomorrow will take care of all issues, I wouldn't go nuts and bleach your equipment yet. Still a good practice if you only have one infected tank however.
dude...you had rays and trop gars but cant kick this ichs tail????? hahaha just messin'

I was making charley sheen jokes the second he talked about tigers blood, never too soon.

Dude I never once had a case of ich in my tanks or really any bacterial infection or parasites back then and that was in a 3 year time frame with fish coming and going like crazy. Only problems I ever had were operator errors of not properly handling them or mixing the wrong fish together. I stop keeping fish when I was unexpectedly deployed and while in country I got a nasty TBI which caused me to forget a bunch about fish keeping! FYI, I use that excuse for forgetting alot of things and it usually works! muhahaha
