Yup, I'm very familiar with acoustic management. Worked in OE car audio for over 8 years. With the zig zags the water won't be able to pick up as much speed and the noise will be muffled somewhat by the bends. Kind of like a stepped waterfall versus one tall one. With the corrugated hose the ribs will also slow down the water but I'm still not sure about hanging it vertically. Can you show me a picture of what it looks like with a flex hose? Maybe I'm just not picturing it.
