I have a 120 gallon tank w/ no special cut outs or holes on the back and I would like to add a fluval fx5 to my tank. The only holes I have is on the top of the tank. Can I still use this filter?

no holes needed. The FX5 comes w/ everything you need to make it work

How would I set it up....Would I just run intake and outake hoses into tank? Im a pretty big noob...especially when it comes to filteration.

yeah thats all there is to it. one hose for inlet, one hose for out. thats it!

Thanks guys. I am pretty new at this and I am in LOVE. So any help is greatly appreciated.

Its pretty simple. The hoses just go up the back of the aquarium and over the rim.
