Why did you even bother posting? You knew my intentions of this thread the entire time. It is a question that other people have probably wondered as well.

There are so many questions on here that have no real answer, yet people continue to reply. It's just something to wonder about.
Because im trying to get you to think your question through.

Also this is different then other open questions, such as whats the best filtration system, alot of people have knowledge of how different set ups worked out for them. I doubt anyone has done this expirement multiple times with different species.

I supplied you with the basics of what would probably happen and you got mad. Maybe you got mad and thought i was threatening to blind you, which i wasn't. I was encouraging you to actively think how other animals or even fish cope with blindness, granted this isn't perfect comparison but this will teach you the behavioral changes.

Ok, I get the bahavioral changes, but what about Health changes? That's another part of my question.

I have thought over my questions, and I want to know what other people think.

thats the more open ended part of the question, since your example is in captivity we will assume that their diet didn't change(which would be impossible in the wild and even perhaps algae eaters in captivity). So there should be only one possible health effect(we are ignoring mental stress), vitamin synthesis from light.

which I believe is a little unclear of whether they do it or not, I have heard people claim sunlight helps there fish recover from hith. However many will say no, fish receive so little light in the wild they shouldn't have that ability or atleast rely on it.
I suppose with that, you could also ask do artificial bulbs on our tanks effect the any possible synthesis?
