I got it from a lfs in my area. I orginaly brought 2 and The guy didn even know what type fish they where they where just labeld as "Dwarf Cichlids" and i never saw these type fish before so i brought them. The one i have now is the smaller and less colorful of the 2 i brought. The other one that didn make it was the prettiest but never ate from the day i brought it home. And thanks everyone for answering my question now i can put my mind to ease a little about my jacks growing up lookin deformed like some of the other ones i've seen
