That's because they get in eachothers way and they have to share the same bottom surface. If there was more room they would avoid eachother, but since they can't....no offence though, but it's not all to blaim the bichir.

Loubard, im not blaming the bichir . In fact , im showing this so that other people may learn something from this thread. But you are correct. Nobodys to blame but the fish keeper who ( unknowingly ) puts them together.
