norton, ma
just wondering if green terrors and oscars get along, because im sure they would look good in the same tank.

what size tank?

um well i think my next tank would be a 75, too small?? dont worry i dont have a green terror but obv have an oscar. i just think they would look good together.

be careful if the GT is young and keep an eye on them. juvenile GT's are easily bullied and generally oscars like to bully.

I researched this same question for awhile, and the general consensus seemed to be this is a workable combination, unless you happen to pick up a particularly agressive fish. I have an oscar, convict, and green terror in a 75 with no problems so far, but they're still pretty small.

Should work for a while but it'll get crowded eventually with those two, and that's when the real trouble will start. Long term you'll need something bigger.

Hm. I have a 75 right now with 1 GT, 1 JD, and 1 Tiger Oscar (all are very young) and it seems that the GT is bullying everyone. The JD still has balls and challenges the GT all the time, but the poor oscar is always in a corner all alone. Will this behavior change as they get bigger?

well the oscar is gona be the biggest fish out of all of them, so in time im guessing they will start to leave him alone, so yea once he starts growin hes probably gona be fine.

got a quetion...

would it not work out due to the fish's bio-load? or because of their agression? if it's their bio-load can't you over come that by doing more frequent and thorough water changes/gravel cleaning? and also better filtration?
