Ive seen it in a few posts and videos of people talkin bout eating their cichlids if they over grow their tank or die. Is this true?

One of my bud's.....old school ghetto guy ate his 15'' pacu.... he said it tasted pretty yummy! I'll pass on that:ROFL:

i sure hope not thats nasty! who would want to eat a fish thats been eating flakes and pellets. then again ive always thought eating a bass that just swallowed a worm off ur hook was kinda nasty too

IIRC a lot of the chemicals used to treat water say they are not intended for use with edible fish. So, anyone who has done this, please post a picture of any strange growths or extra limbs you've since developed. :naughty:

I have caught some invasive Oreochromis and put them in tanks until I was ready to eat them, but that was the plan all along. I only named one of them and he was eaten as well. Tilapia are very tasty, especially when fresh!

I think there was a thread on here a long time ago about a guy eating his Midas with pics.

I can't even imagine a Jaguar being tasty.
Especially after dying randomly in a tank
or with water dosed with a bunch of dechlorinator.... Have you ever smelled that stuff? It reeks! Haha

There is a thread on here I can't remember the name right now but he has a pond and it had pacu and ID sharks and stuff and he had pics of 3 fish that he ate.
