I want to add a few different species of Plecos to a 75gal tank. I have heard several different answers on this, some say "no" and others say they won't attack anything else in the tank except each other. Can I get some real life experience on this please. My plan is to add: (1) Gold Nugget, (1) Sunshine and (1) Royal. I will eventually, within 6 months, have my 175g up and running. Just have to finish the room I am working on in the basement.

If you have enough good hiding spots, multiple plecos will be fine. They will probably push and shove and maybe chase a little to figure out who gets the best spot, but pleco fights aren't normally anything major

the males will fight with larger fish for a prefured spot and if they do not have enouph food will become carnivorus and eat the scales and slime coat off of other slow moving fish

they also club/attack other fish like cichlids if picked on long enofe

They do

I have a sunshine, a gold nugget, a blue phantom, 2 sail fins, and a small royal in my 100. Some squabbles but nothing major...but my tank are filled with driftwood...I also offer multiple feeding stations so squabbles are kept at a minimum.
