So i have a 60 gallon filter on my 10 gallon. Enough filteration? And all my barbs died so its an empty tank. ;(

Well the barbs died becuase of my own mistake.... I had to do a whole water change because i put BAD water in that was really acid. So i put good water and it was about 50 deggrees and they sorta of froze. I had to leave and if i would of know i would of waited to do the change. But the water and tank are just fine.

I'm not trying to be rude, but you better make sure your water is at the correct levels before putting a new puffer or any other fish in that tank...

Also, if you can't really maintain a tank properly due to time or school etc, you may want to reconsider puffers, since they are quite susceptible to disease and changes in water condition which could quite easily lead to problems such as ICH or worst...

LOL, I've earned it & advice like yours, kill puffers!

OK!!!! Keep it clean and the aruges down. I can maittiane the tank its just my mom said we had to go NOW. and we hung around for another hour. And all the levels in the tank are good. I checked them last night.

But why was your entire tank wiped out? What's in there now? What are your exact parameters? How did you pre-cycle this tank?

The tank has been up for a while now. i had setup for before i got fish. got plants and all that junk still in there. and real plants so ya

If you're maintaining healthy plants in the tank and your ammonia and nitrite are both 0, I think a few dwarf puffers would be happy in there. Just make sure you watch those levels and keep up with the water changes. Puffs are very sensitive and small changes that a more hardy fish will brush off can kill these little fellas.
