Toxicity only increases with the addition of more toxin. And, that toxin has to be held within the body tissues, unchanged, as toxicity levels increase. Any metabolized toxin may be excreted from the body. Thereby, reducing that toxin's level until it's gone.

You got that straight.

A little trivia: In the case of DDT, it was actually the metabolite DDE which caused eggshell thinning by endocrine disruption.

But to answer to the original post: I've never done it, but I have no hard feelings against people who eat their fish/chickens/rabbits/...

Who is keepig there fish in such poor conditions?. not me or anyone here as far as i know,

Btw the tilapia pic just made he hungry . weird thing is i went to the market last night and bought 4-6 tilapia to eat for the family.they taste great.

I find there to be nothing wrong with eating my own fish, sure, a few SELECT fish would NEVER make it to the plate, but as far as eating my own fish or fish in general I am all for it.
