Do you belive in karma?

I don't believe in any force like karma but yes if you are mean and rude you may not have many friends.

I think that the world is also full of jerks who have alot of friends and are popular. I don't think that just because you are a nice person that you will have a great life or even friends. I think that there are alot of things that people are undeserving of especially when they haven't done a single thing wrong in their life.

I think that some people are incredibly hateful and judgmental about others even before they have met them. It seems it's easier to hate than love for some people.

That's just ironic!!!!:ROFL::ROFL::ROFL:

Here's a good karma story;
Last year my abusive ex got 2-3 people to try to kill me after I got back from Mexico and she broke up with me. I was also crippled with shin splints and ended up in the ER from an allergic reaction to the shin splints meds. She made my life a living hell.

Well, I'm now selling my own artwork, self employed, and going to a good college. She, on the other hand, is miserable, depressed, and has lost a lot of friends.

Big monster! did you get that av from the pic I posted on the pet croc thread?!?!

Agreed

I believe in Karma but not in a religious way (I actually think organized religion is one of the worst things to ever happen to mankind, but thats another issue)

If you look out for people and help them when their down you will have people there to help you in return when needed. Its not so much a magical thing as a common sense and logical thing. If your an *** than no one will care when you need help. If your a nice decent person many times people will go out of their way to help you.

My life pretty much revolves around what you have said here. I am 100% non-religous. I belive in treating others the way you want to be treated.

It's hard to believe in Karma when we see some god awful acts committed against others around the world.

The elderly missionary couple working in Africa who were recently randomly beaten to within an inch of their lives. They were beaten because they had done years of missionary work?

A guy I know who spent 22 years behind bars for a murder he was eventually found innocent of. He did 22 years because he was standing on a street corner minding his own business?

Sure, there's cause and effect and natural consequences in our world, but I think Karma is a man made concept and mantra and nothing more tangible than that.
