Do you belive in karma?

It's hard to believe in Karma when we see some god awful acts committed against others around the world.

The elderly missionary couple working in Africa who were recently randomly beaten to within an inch of their lives. They were beaten because they had done years of missionary work?

A guy I know who spent 22 years behind bars for a murder he was eventually found innocent of. He did 22 years because he was standing on a street corner minding his own business?

Sure, there's cause and effect and natural consequences in our world, but I think Karma is a man made concept and mantra and nothing more tangible than that.

In Africa, do you think those people who beat the missionary couple are going to get away with it..

The guy who spent years behind bars is set free...You never went into detail on his life and if he did good or bad..He is free thou so at one point, Karma did him a favor.

Karma is what happens next and not how life dealt them a bad hand...

Does Karma not imply that if you do good things, good things will come to you and if you do evil to others, then evil will befall you? Does it not draw a direct connection between events? Karma cannot be selective or random in application.

I believe your actions are re payed. Not directly and instantly but yes I believe in karma.
