Do you ever try to use your fish tanks to impress your dates?

This is so funny. I'm married and got the tank after dateing it was his idea too. But I'm a girl and if a guy had a really sweet tank yes I would want to check it out then go home. If they used that as a line I would laugh at what a dork they are. If the guy had a fish room and I was a normal girl I would run. over 10 tanks and you start to look crazy to the nonfish people.
 
nope....they get bored of the fish talk...but now iv sold up any new relationship material is running to the hills as soon as they clock the 10.5ft burm :-( hey ho, not meant to be

my fiancee an I had talked about fish before we had started dating but she thought I had a small 20gal with tetras. First time she came over and she saw my 55 gal with 2 gold severums and my 40 gal with a juvi sen poly her jaw dropped.

lol I had one not long ago when I was planing to build a pond (sold him to a friend of mine who had a catfish pond). She didn't believe me when I told her how big they really. Thank you river monsters, now she believes me :ROFL:

i remember when got my fist boa and i was trying to convince my mum that they dont get that big (compared to retics lol) and on came a program where these blokes we wrestling this HUGE wild female boa...didnt go down well.
 
Whilst some babes don't like fish and think it's weird, most "girly" feminine girls love looking at "pretty" fish and I think they love watching.
