Do you Guy's keep you Ray's in Tap Water?

You're right Nic, we won't be able to duplicate the exact water parameters for our rays.

As responsible ray keeper, our main concern is to provide the rays with the best possible water condition, environment and foods that make them happy and stay healthy.

i have never added salt to any ray tank there is no need for it at all

dose the whole tank with seachem prime 20 x cap fulls then take the water from the tap

dont worry about the temp drop thats no big deal

rays are not a brackish water fish why would you needed to add salt

20xcapfulls?????

some times it just helps and works out.... a small amout in tonic treatment doesnt hurt... keeps all slime coats happy...
 
i agree salt is amazing, really helps fish, dose with salt occasionally e.g when adding new fish, illness etc, not a good idea to constantly have salt as you run the risk of developing diseases that are immune to salt, i forgot the name, begins with t....
