Just curious, how many people still buy music these days, like through iTunes, other sites, or even buy actual CDs at a store ()? And what about downloading music? I don't even have the need to download music anymore! I have thousands of songs and my computer/ipod that are just sitting there.

With the Pandora and Slacker apps on my phone i get endless music customized to my tastes, and its free all day everyday. And with my phone I can stream the music to my cars speakers via Bluetooth and the quality is just as good as CDs and better than radio. Who needs an iPod, CDs, or satellite radio these days!!!

are we seeing the beginning of a new era?

i buy music. but usually only when i get itunes gift cards or i just fine some spare cash laying around. and i only download stuff.

I buy music for my ipod from itunes and I also buy an occasional cd, which I download to my ipod. I have XM radio in my car, which is paid music.

so any of you guys use pandora/slacker on a smart phone?

this is the CD player i currently have in my truck. bluetooth works seamlessly for calls and streaming audio. it has USB, ipod, and 3.5mm input jacks but i dont even use those lol

my stepdads car has an aux jack for my ipod, and my dads car has a cassete player, and i have a cassette with a cord that plugs into my ipod, so im pretty much set.

My wife uses Pandora, so I'm familiar with it, but I've sort of noticed that your music loses much dynamic range, when using internet-based sources. I'm very picky about the sound quality of my music.
