Do you guys still buy music?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I only buy cds of artists I truly respect, and have been waiting to hear for months, I also buy mixtapes. But that being said I bought two cds last year, UGK-Ridin' Dirty and the Jay Z cd.

My wife uses Pandora, so I'm familiar with it, but I've sort of noticed that your music loses much dynamic range, when using internet-based sources. I'm very picky about the sound quality of my music.
interesting. to be honest i havent even been able to tell the difference when im using it on a computer or from my phone

and even though i have an ipod, ive never bought anything on itunes. all my songs i either ripped from CDs or downloaded. whats the price of a song/album these days on itunes?

Occasionally I'll buy something from iTunes, usually I just get cds from the library or a friend and burn it onto the computer. Only stuff I'll buy is stuff I don't feel like waiting for.

I mostly listen to sirius radio.
I do dig around in the used cd racks at the mall sometimes.

I buy about 2 cd's a month. I have sirius radio which influences me to buy music I like. I like collecting stuff like cd's and the occassional movie or live performance. But, I only know the whereabouts of two "record" stores so, I ebay a lot.

People used to buy their music!? lol, that's Crazy! That sounds like something a MAC owner would do...

this is the CD player i currently have in my truck. bluetooth works seamlessly for calls and streaming audio. it has USB, ipod, and 3.5mm input jacks but i dont even use those lol

I have the same one with sirius satellite radio and ipod jack.

Most bands i listen to aren't at the radio/mtv level so i buy their cd's to support them. Otherwise if its a bigger artist i download it from a music blog.
