i have a P. bufonius- fun fish- ate 9 or 10 - 2 inch electric yellows at probably 3 an a half inches in one night- then next night my ancistrus plec dissapeared. hungry little guy- but i did get him on a diet of mostly pellets. some live every now an again. he was sold to me as a marbled zungaro cat fish-
do you know what a bumblee catfish can do?

just wandering, if this fish max out in about 25cm, then how many would you keep in a 40 g tank? or is it too small?I already hv 3 of them, and each are about 10 cm, do you think they are fast growing catfishes?they used to fight for hiding spaces, but now that I added more stones in the tank, they all have their own hiding spot.
they will grow super fast then level off an just get fat. mine is around 10 inchs now, but when i first got him he was only lik 3 1/2 inchs. grew to like 7 or 8 in 2 months or so. then slowed since then. i even trained mine to eat pellets.
???? cant wait to see mine gets that big
