Do you like hybrids?

I don't like the abundance of "flowerhorn" hybrids around recently, but I do like the various catfish hybrids.

Lot's of people like flowerhorns and other hybrids. Lot's of people like brown cichlids. Good for all of them.

I'm fine with hybrids as long its from a commercial breeder who is responsible enough to cull and know when not to sell, Ex: if they're disfigured or have any prolonged issues. I hate it when random hobbyist play god and just dump their abominations on the local fish store.

Agree with whats written above... since i'm mainly a puffer person at the end of the day, the only hybrid i care about is the Fahaka / Cross River mix...

I things as longs as the fish are not disabled in some way that affect the fish itself then I'm fine with it. For example really small fins making it hard to swim etc.

"Hybrids are wrong and should all be destroyed!", seriously? Anyone who chose this option must be overlooking the fact that hybrids occur in the wild, they're not all "man-made". So it would be completely ignorant to want them destroyed, even if they were somehow all destroyed, how would you keep wild fish from mating with other species or variants of the same species? Also "do you like hybrids" is far too broad of a question. I like many catfish hybrids, I hate flowerhorns, I hate blood parrots, etc etc. It's like asking someone to list every fish they know of and tell you whether they like them or not.

I cant get this question out of my head, Why do you only like one type of hybrid? If you dont like the other types wouldnt it make sense to hate them all? ots just really confusing to me when I hear someone hates hybrids and has hybrid cats.

TSN x RTC's are ok, same with parrots. But I absolutely hate any disfigured hybrid.

Parrots aren't disfigured?
