my toys are classic cars, firearms, and comercial trucks. all of which really dont lose market value. not the best plan but it works for now and we live ok, and we got fun stuff while we can enjoy it.

I didn't things were very serious over there.

I am a college student. I live with my parents and depend on them totally. They wouldn't let me to work. Told me that it can ruin my studies. :/

I hope America recovers.

Just curious about the economic makeup of MFK.

If you do live paycheck to paycheck and given the economy, with your current savings, how long could you last without a job? Whats you savings like?

How long would you last jobless just on your savings?

I would last about six months if either of us did not have a job.. BUT...I always have a job to go to..

We are a little over the limit.. So she fixed and I am getting fixed :) We want the 99.9 to be 99.999 :D

I live check to check because I dump as much as possible into a 403b............which sucks right now. I would have been better off keeping that money and investing it later......but too late now.

403b? I thought that was only for teachers? At least here it is...

(MI is just Adams Smith's invisible hand of the market smacking sense into the rest of the country... World).

I just finished a microeconomics class, if I hear any more about the invisible hand or supply and demand.... Good ole invisible will guide us

Pay check to paycheck with little to nothing in the bank. But I got bills paid ahead so What I get weekly can go to whatever is needed. But I just keep paying ahead. As long as I got gas in the car, food on the table. and heat in the house I don't care. The fish are just the added fun. Not a something I can't live without.

Well I had to quit a job where I was working 40 hours a week. At that time I was not living paycheck to paycheck I had spending money and savings money and not to much stress over it.

I quit b/c they couldnt work with my school schedule so I found a job that would only prob is I go to school 5 days a week and my job is a 10 hour shift job so I can only work weekends.

Now I am only able to work one day a week (sometimes 2... sat and sun - except we close a lot of sundays in winter b/c of cooler weather. I work with water) So now at this point in time I have spent a lot of my savings fixing car problems, getting food at school, getting books, gas, fish food/stuff, vet bill, phone bill etc. you get the picture but b/c of my cut hours from what I was working to now it I am spending more then I make. I had a really good amount saved and then it just went decently low between the no -job new job period and the not making what I am spending period.

However I will hopefully be back to paycheck to paycheck with some savings after january as I passed my finals and I have finished my AA degree so I will have more time to work and I get paid more at this job.

i just ask my mom for money:D. until i turn 18 noooooooo:cry::cry::cry:
