Do you name your fish?

I have an Oscar who is un-creatively named "porky". lol... he is a fatty. My common pleco is named "Mini Tank", But the other fish do not have names.

This is Porky closely examining his new tank mates... they get along great!

Depending on the time of year, my fish number from a couple of thousand to the tens of thousands. So, naming the fish would be an act of futility.

I only name the feeders and their names are, ..."Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, ..."

lol at the feeders. But wow Oddball you have so many awesome and rare fish, none of them have earned a name?

1 Gulper called Mr Brown and the other called Xiaohei

I name my fish after they've survived 2 weeks in the tank, but only if I can tell them apart from one another. Otherwise, they get a group name. For example, the chocolate cichlid is named Bob (girlfriend's choice), the oscar is named Helmut (my choice), but the group of silver dollars in the baby tank is named collectively Characin Nation. For individual names, whoever loves them more names them. Here are some pictures, as I believe the OP requested. The super red severum is bernie, because he looks like a burn victim (bad, I know). The goby is named "It" because of his personality. The algae eater is Mooch. The little firemouth is Mister Furious (guess why). The red bay snook is Hannibal. These are pics of SOME of our babies across different tanks and at different times (though all are alive and healthy...knock wood...as of today).

Yeah I have a small group of Rainbow fish who I call the Jackson 5. But I don't know which one is which lol.
