Do you name your fish?

My sister has a HUGE Angel fish named 'FINNY'. She says hello to it and talks to it. It looks at her, it stays right where ever he can see her face, however long she stands by the tank. Of coarse I tried this,- he came over near me, but then went back where he was. She is blonde, (not naturally), I'm not. Maybe it knows her voice, or her hair color, or both? I was joking with her last weekend. I said," FINNY didn't see your shiny beer can, that's why he knew it wasn't you!" We LOA's off!

I got a pacu named Brutus and a smaller one named Patty. My pleco is named pumpkin but it doesn't really fit. I don't name other fish, too small or hard to tell them apart.

Fish of significant importance get names, I named my first frontosa Prometheus. My horei is named Bad @$$ Sea Bass, Sea Bass for short, That fish has a body count to his name that makes me shiver when recalling the good fish and sum of money he has claimed in the name of dominance. I keep cichlids so there is a turn over as fish kill each other I learned to not become attached, names make you attached.
