well, judging by how fat my aro and CK is, id say a little too much. I dont spiol my aro though. he eats anything i give to him. My loaches are kinda rotund too. I gotta put them on a diet.

It depends on which fish for me. The Dovii I feed every other. A reasonable amount but having that time in between gives him time to digest it properly. My other cichlids are once daily .The cats are fed a large amount but only fed every third day. 1 indicator I use is their poops. I look for how well digested it is .If it doesn't look digested, break up easily and you seem to have plenty about, chances are they are getting fed too much. I think the amount they can digest is more important than the amount they can consume.

The only poops i ever see is the plecos so i quess i am doing okay... and everyone is looking good... and most fish have been healthy for a long time...and i did cheat a little this am by picking and choosing who i thought needed a little on the day i am suppose to skip.. when you have tiny little babies lurcking in the plants out of harms way...you don't want them doing anything regrettable..so i added some flake food to simmer down to them...other wise i was good...and tommorrow they will all feast again, very good info and i certainly respect your advice...you have some of the most beautiful fish....thank you

I used to overfeed and over clean but with so much going on right now, i have to leave a sticky note on the tank to remind me to feed

round loaches are a good thing..fat arow must look awesome too.. and Ck haha... Cks love to eat..almost cruel not to feed them good.. :D

Im very anal and precise about how much I feed which gives them a nice little bulge in the bellies everyday. :D When I feed the tank the aro crushes his hikari sticks and little bits come out of his gills and the school of neons are right behind him to pick up the scraps. I recently upped their feeding amount to make sure the Clown loaches are getting their share as well.

I hear marine fish it is good idea to feed lighter since they are harder to keep longivity.. is this the main reason you feed lighter.. those puffs and triggers must be awesome.
