Do you test your water?

I don't know about others, but the LFS where I live will do a basic water test for you for free....you just have to bring a sample in to them.

I test monthly

I test for nitrate and PH every 3-4 months. Always the same. I agree with others, a good water change schedule is the answer to everything.

I test if anything seems out of sorts. I also test Nitrates every 3-4 weeks just to make sure my weekly water changes are keeping those from creeping up as stock levels change.
