I don't know though, I am not gonna try it.

Well I have grown oscars, flowerhorns, numerous other fish in 10g's.. not short and fat either... I can match growth in a 10g with a fish grown in a 55g, but I guess tank size determines water quality.. and tank size determines growth..

I have raised big fish in small tanks, do to stupid dorm requirements. My senegal bichir went from 2" to 10" in the same year my GT went from .5" to 6".

Lepidosiren paradoxa is the evidence of dry season in amazon.

If everyone agrees water quality is the reason, why the poll is showing 75% agreement with tank size?

bingo

the people who vote in the pole do not understand that tank size affects water quality.

the smaller the body of water the more the water quality fluctuates and fouls.

Would you rather drink an gram of pee diluted in 10 gallons or 100 gallons. It would be best to not drink it, but what would you rather drink? A fish can make a gram of waste pretty quick.

You too are missing the point. Assuming proper filtration, that pee (pure ammonia) would be taken up by the bacteria in the biofilter.

I would like to make it clear that I LIKE BIG TANKS. I PREFER BIG TANKS. However, can fish be raised to by physically healthy in smaller tanks? YES!

Instantly? What filter are you using? I want one of those magic filters too. Waste is processed as soon as it leaves the fish. Also, urine has hormones and proteins in it.
