When I was in Thailand and Singapore they served the eggs as a delicacy at restaurants. Popular as food in SE Asia. They even served FRT as soup. it's supply and demand. And everyone wants what they can't have. They also had channa micropeltes for 1$ feeders. Here in the states, people would be willing to pay over 100X that amount for a fingerling red.
