Yep, we're talking about FRTs/PNTs (Fly River turtle/Pig-Nose turtle). Carettochelys insculpta.

Ok, I gotcha....friend of mine had a huge adult for sale at a Hamburg show I went to back in 2013-14. Really strong healthy adult....1st one I had ever seen and I was absolutely taken by it. So they have recently been added to appendix list?


..........Wait.....is there one species just like this with normal feet or did I just not SEE the flippers cuz he never took it out of the RUB?

There isn't much that looks like these guys. Only FW turtles with flippers like a sea turtle. Softshells kinda look similar... I guess
