Do you think wearing UFC tapout clothing is okay?

^ i bet you that 90% of those people have never even had an experience themselves with someone who wore a tapout shirt. and quite frankly, i don't take the mass majority of people from those places like fb, myspace, twitter very seriously. that same mass majority think that farming game thing is so cool,............... yea, your opinion is gonna matter to me

it's like a popular thing now to automatically assume someone's a dbag because of a tapout shirt

in the mma world it's the same way though, people will call someone an internet tough guy with a tapout shirt, but i have never seen or had a bad experience with someone who was wearing a tapout shirt and i've been to fights, boxing matches and bars and places like that,........... never seen it myself, i'm sure they are out there, but like i said, you can spot them even in their normal clothes and they will be dbags on those days they dont' wear the tapouts also

Yeah, it really is. My question though, if you know that, why would you want to associate yourself with that stereotype? To prove a point? Like it or not, stereotypes are here to stay, and everybody judges based on looks and appearance. You can say otherwise, but you're flat out lying :)

i feel like some of you think it's an attack on your sport.....nah, i don't view the people who wear the shirts as the same crowd as the people who watch or participate in the sport but i can only speak for myself. maybe other's associate it as one and the same

Great idea kev, tapthat sounds way cooler

oh yea, dude, that's just the way it is. i dont' wear tapout because for one, I don't like their designs, and two, i'd feel like people look at me that way. it wouldn't stop me normally, but it's because i don't like the designs anyways. same with affliction, not my style. i prefer to rock the fighter specific shirts

but like i said before, i understand the stereotypes. but i just feel that the majority of those who judge haven't even had an experience themselves, and yet, because it's what's "in" right now, and they've heard it before, they will continue that trend and jump on the boat

not in my case, i really just jumped in to discuss just for a discussion, but not taking anything as an attack on the sport

Yeah, it has very little to do with the sport. It's no different than the stereotypical ideas you hear for folks who wear Nascar apparel. And here in California, all minority males ages 15-30 who wear 49ers, Raiders, or Cowboys jerseys are gang bangers
