Do you use carbon?

I use either carbon or seachem purigen, it keeps the water sparkling clear, and removes bad stuff.

purigen by seachem in all my tanks all the time. doesnt leach back and water sparkles. I havent used carbon in 20yrs

Only in my SW tanks & once I found Purigen, the carbon just sat under the tank.

I see no point in regular carbon use if a proper water change schedule is in place.
