Its hard to say but, theres a reason why the majority of the dogs, police and law enforcement use are German shepards.
Every individual dog has its own personality, but on the whole, GS are easier to train, it takes less time and work for the trainer to get GS to do what they want them to do consistantly.
They seem more willing to please their owner/ handler then a doberman. Of coarse this has just been my experiance.
Dobermans can be more willfull and independant, almost bored and disinterested, like Im not doing that! whats the point. Pieces of hot dog work good though, lol
