documenting my Alligators growth rate (w/pics)

you all are crazy paying that much for a gator gar i have one my self but dude i got mine for 15$ at my lfs and he was 12". lol wow just wow
 
thats a great deal eagle. But really when you get into large fish I don't really think cost should matter as much I mean if you cant afford to spend $100 on the fish than you def wont want be able to spend the thousands it cost to house them. I kinda like the higher cost on fast growing monster fish.....keeps the 12yrs olds parents from buying one for them for their massive 30gal.

10"!!! got some dry pics today and as you can see he is a good 10"

This is great news a few more inches and he will be large enough to go into the floating growout in the pond. So for a recap in 40days he went from 3" to 10" or essentially tripled his size in 1 month.

Does anyone know or have any estimates on where his growth will plateu? I'm thinking he will hit 24" within his first yr at least
 
that sounds about right with the rate you are going.
