documenting my Alligators growth rate (w/pics)

Now 12". I was wondering about these guys habit of moving into saltwater when larger. Has anyone done that on here?

I've moved "silver tip sharks" and mollies up to salt but have never done it with an AG

He is now in th 4x2x2 floating grow out in the 1500 where I will keep him until he reaches 14-16"

Should be that big in no time. Then he will have some fun chasing down the small cichlids you have in your 1500.

Ya he will. He doesn't like them already as the smaller ones can swim threw the egg grate and pick at his food. Than swim back threw before he can eat them. Lol

Moved him into the 1500. He was freaking out in the floating grow out and I was afraid he would hurt himself. He seams to be enjoying the massive amount of room he has now

I just went to aquascape today and picked up a gator myself about 6" long. A very nice store. They also had some small spotted gar along with Lots of other toothy fish.
