LOL @ "just" 5.7

That's a serious car:)

6.1's are better motor lol, and can take a lot more power.
I wish that Dodge made and SRT-8 6.1 Hemi pickup, instead of the SRT10.

I have an '08 Halfton thats supercharged, chipped and has saweet exhaust.

Still jealous of this car though lol.

Isn't it bad if an engine "takes" power? All I'm saying is that 5.7 is plenty to move that thing down the road. I have the 3.5 in my Magnum and it pulls my boat flawlessly. It's only 250hp, but I can maintain ~19mpg pulling my boat while still passing cars. 6.1? Hell yea! Mad torque an HP, but 5.7 is more than enough.

I worked in a shop a few years ago that made a modern version of the Lil red express. It was the 5.7 with a custom intake and a 72mm turbo. Even with 28lbs of boost the bottom end held up, so I know that the 5.7 is no slouch.

I love the new Challengers! Have you seen the SRT-10 with the Viper V-10 engine in it?

That's a little excessive, but it looks awesome!!!! They are nice looking cars, and I like the way they look in dark blue.

they are a nice car but for me personally I will wait until my Camaro shows up. I personally like the new Camaro better (I realize I will likely get slammed for this here but I'm fine with that)

My philosophy, as well as my fathers, is, that if you're not burning tires off in 10 000 KM's you're not driving it hard enough.

We're both heavily into customizing our vehicles to the fullest extent. Speaking of Lil' Red Expresses, my dad actually has a '76 Warlock with a 440 big block in it that would basically scare the crap out've anyone.
It can run mid 10's and is still street legal :)

And gas is so damn cheap here, I don't really care about filling it up haha. Especially at 76 cents a litre, more than cheap enough.

I'd still love to own an SRT one day, hopefully the SRT 10 Challenger when I'm a rich old man :D
