I work on cars. heck I have rebuilt motors with friends that they don't even sell in america (rb20det, rb26det, sr20det, sr18{you won't find much about that one it's a weird form of a sr20}) I still don't like what they do with new fords and dodges. their engines are not as interchangeable as the old cars were. my car still uses old school setup for mounting the engine and such, so I can swap a lot of things into it, but the motor I am wanting to swap is gonna require a whole new k-member to fit it in there because of what gm did with the 3/4 gen mounts.

Nice....I had a FC Rx7 w/ a 13B turbo engine swap. The car was N/A but of course I went turbo. Thing hauled ass, wit my mods it had about 350hp, very fast....I miss it. Also had a turbocharged Probe, Celica GTS, 77 Camaro, 73 Camaro both were beasts. And yes GM is making things more diffucult....:nilly:

cool. one of my friends just built an ls1 powered 89 rx7. he's pushing 410hp and somewhere in the 460-480 in torque. that thing is bad. I am gonna build an lq4 for my camaro. I am gonna bore it out, stroke it, put ported l92 heads on it, use a cc custom ground cam and use an edelbrock carb style intake manifold with an edelbrock 850 carb. it'll be a 550-650hp motor depending on how boring and stroking helps it.

Wont get slammed from me.....I agree although all these new "musclecars" are to heavy...IMO.....

That's why I like compact sportsters. I accidentally spun the wheels on my mom's MINI just from tapping on the gas at a stop light. The sound of a big American V-8 does get your blood pumping like nothing else, not gonna argue that.

I'm not much of a fan of the "Classic" new car look. I am not a fan of the Charger, Challenger, Camaro, or Mustangs that were recent intros, but I do love a powerful motor. That will be a fun car.

I want one of those so bad. I am ready to trade in my ram. I would go with the 5.7, too. IMO, 11,000 extra AND a gas guzzler tax isnt worth it. I like the RT better, it has a better choice of options like 18's instead of just 20's, better color options, man/auto (till this year), etc. Although the 13 speaker Kicker system in the SRT would be SWEET!

That def is gonna be a MONSTER...:WHOA::WHOA::WHOA:

Im gonna get a 02 Camaro SS 6spd in the spring hopefully and w/ heads/cam/boltons and 150hp shot of spray, I should be around 600rwhp. I would love to do a LS1 swap into an FD. I hated them at first but LS1 is more reliable, I gotta admit it. I blew my first 13b turbo engine at 160mph and I was PISSED. I had only had the car back for like a WEEK, they TOLD ME TO STAY OUTTA HIGH BOOST UNTIL MY AIR/FUEL RATIO GUAGE WAS HOOKED UP, BUT MY HARD HEADED ASS WANTED TO RACE MY FRIENDS BUILT INTEGRA WITH A 75 SHOT. I WON AND BLEW MY DAMN ENGINE...:ROFL::ROFL:

I'm still deciding on whether or not I wanna spray. the internal would be able to handle it on it. it's just whether or not I want to spend the extra money and risk tearing up my heads leaning it out.( I know about setting it up, but there is always the risk.)
