mostly surf now,Im 33 and I can still skate alright as far as oldschool tricks but my knees hurt so bad the next few days.I dont think its really from age as much as skating all these years in flat footed shoes when I needed arches.I got a long board I ride down hill and a small colection of reissue oldschool boards. The cab I ride all the time on the hilly side of town.Or around to the store or something.Surfing gives me more but skating is always in my heart. The nash in the pic is just like the first board I ever had so I bought it off ebay.My freinds run the best surf and skate shop here so I get the hookups,lol.skateboards.JPG

Dude Jason, if those boards are originals and not copies then you might be sittin on some righteous cash. Those things look like they are in primo shape. I really like the old skull and sword, and the boneite vallely and cab....

I went to a couple of skateparks last year to try out my new camera (Sony HC7 HD camcorder). There was a tour coming through called "Emerica's Wild Ride", sponsored by Emerica and Harley-Davidson. It was pretty cool, the Battleground, WA skatepark rocked.

These pix are from Aumsville, OR. I'm the one with the camera on the far side of the bowl. I would upload some video, but I've got 26 kbps dial-up!

Wow you just happened to go the Emerica Wild Ride tour? Boy are you lucky. There was one contest in St. Louis that had a bunch of pros at it, and thats almost the only time I was ever near any.

Oh yeah, you snapped a picture of Chris Senn almost rolling out of the frame in the first picture. He has been on Emerica since it started up, and he just skates bowls pretty much. Very nice.

Wait so skating in the wrong shoes can mess up your knees? I have blown out both my knees, and I have flat feet. Is there a shoe I can wear that takes my knee pain away? Because I wake up every morning with tendonitis. It kind of sucks. One of my friends has this rare disease where the immune system attacks his joints and there isn't a cure so he just has arthritis everywhere, but he still skates, carves bowls and stuff. Its a really hard habit to break.

Yeah, it was pretty darn cool! I will load the footage back on the computer this weekend and upload some stills. I don't know the pros by name, maybe some of you will recognize them. The Battleground park had a really nice street section, good stuff!

Here's a picture of my wife shreddin' the bowl on a tricycle:

Didn't look like the Extreme Trikin' picture didn't work. Here goes again:

i used to try, but never really got into tricks. it would've helped if I didn't have such a big board (Powell Hot Rod Flames). I used to skate to school and around campus all the time when I was at college.

I do love the rollerblade, too, but only rec, no tricks at all

My bro skateboards. I wear fruit boots as he refers to them..... Love blading. Any good? No. Used to do a lil vert....now its just gaps..anything under 7-8 foot.

Sweet pictures and videos! I love to skate, I'm pretty casual about it, I don't really do tricks, just cruise on a skate I made myself. It is really easy to make a longboard (mines not really long though). :D

well,my feet have high arches so I need the support in the shoe, unfortunatly I skated for years in vans and visions with no support.I started stretching and rolling my feet over a baseball bat or something every day now and it helps .Really important in the morning and I use arch supports in all my shoes. If your flat footed then the high arch shoes could be hurting you.Your feet can bring pain all the way up your body.My knees could be more from all the stairs and ollies and such but I just wish I cared more about my feet back then instead of what shoe looked the coolest.
