Its amazing what is put into skate shoes now. I am on my 3rd pair of Nike SB e-cue's and the amount of padding in the sole is unbelievable. The system G2 shock pads are in almost every shoe too. I can't imagine skating vans slip ons, though that's the trend now. I went to St Louis city to skate with some of my friends and a couple of the ones that are sponsored skate these thin unprotective shoes. They are really good, but it is like going back to 70's with the style of vans they have on.

I will definitely make sure I get the right shoes then. Hey did you like Frankie Hill back in the day? You know he is making a comeback? I guess this is the year with Guy Mariano's comeback and breakthrough part in Fully Flared. I will post a link to it if you havn't seen it.

Probably my favorite part in that video.

i would get back into skating but my lack of health insurance keeps me away at the moment

You better go back soon. I think its only a misdemeanor to skip skating for a week and be living in California, but to not skate at all and live in Cali, why I am sure that is a felony.

They will find you! They found Styx during Renegade, they can find anybody...You're a waaaaanted maaaaaahahaaaan. hahaha my humor is dryer than toast. Sorry for everyone who is reading this.

yeah loved Hill, remember freestyle mullen, this guy had arms for legshttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1U-cgn3cEGA

this vid here is the one we would watch after playing video games all night and we would eat pop tarts for breakfast, fruity pebbles maybe, tell mom we would call her later, head down town or to the schools and you wouldnt see us all day.Sometimes it was one of those days and you would hit a rock in the first 5 minutes and eat crap.Sometimes nothing could stop you and all the kids that picked on you, parents that yelled, rich kids with all their cool stuff, and mean teachers would just fade into the clouds and you could only wish somebody had you on film that day. This movie along with animal chin pumped my veins every time.http://youtube.com/watch?v=Sw1goX6AMDg

One of my friends met Mullen. He still skates, I think he had a couple tricks in the Globe video. He said he is working on darkslides to grinds, like darkslide pop up to nosegrind. He is rediculous. I remember Ron Allen from Sk8TV. I loved that show. I wish it was the 80s sometimes, because I love ollieing fire hydrants.
